Awesome!! I am so bummed that your kickstarter project failed. I liked someone's comment about trying rockethub. I just found this blog this morning, on a tangent from looking at reviews of the Lenovo ThinkPad for artists vs the iPad and Flyer. You've sold me on the ThinkPad; now let me know if you re-do the kickstarter project on RocketHub, because I would kill to be one of those donors! (to be fair, I'd have to wait a couple months before I could be a donor at the level I want. But I am keeping my eye on you!)
Thanks for the feedback and support. We're going to develop he machine on our own funds a little further before we try to crowd source funding again.
As for the tablets, I'm working on my full review of the ThinkPad right now, but it won't be done for another week or so. It boils down to this: if you need just a drawing tablet with Sketchbook Pro in mind, the ThinkPad is the way to go. But if you want an all-around tablet and also want to do vector graphics work, I would recommend the iPad. Cats out of the bag, don't tell too many people I said that or they won't read the full review. Email me if you want specifics.
I will have to keep an eye out for the review, because you've just piqued my curiosity! I thought that pressure sensitivity was so key here - how can the iPad beat the ThinkPad when it only has pressure sensitivity in a sort of way, through using a stylus with a foam tip? It does look like vector graphics are the way to go and like Android really lacks something comprehensive in that area....

Again, thanks for the supportive words.
